20 Seconds to get Home » Devlog
Just a few post jam tweaks, mainly to the start screen and endings, plus the addition of a casual/untimed mode for if you just want to do a trial run or relax and take in the sights.
- Added casual mode via a checkbox on the title screen, which will stay activated until you uncheck the box.
- Added an option to mute music to the title screen.
- Cat now has it's idle animation on for the title screen so it's not as static and boring.
- Changed the ending so that it triggers at the house's front door as opposed to the instant the cat touches the edge. Also added an additional win "ding" when the cat hits the door, made the trumpet a little longer, a "Yay!" message, some confetti and reduced the number celebratory jumps because there's enough else going on now :)
- Added W and NumpadUp keys for climbing ladders since I somehow missed them the first time.
- Better adjusted the cat's collision box between frames and animations -- the most notable result is that it will no longer balance at the end of a platform on it's tail. Well, just played through and found it still does too an extent. Maybe I'll teak it another time, but for now the cat just has a really strong tail XD
- Some minor visual tweaks.
Thanks to everyone who played and enjoyed this game!
